Melissa and Mickey are from the Bay Area. This is their first time coming to New York, and they wanted something very iconic, very New York City, so I decided to have them come over to my side of the city - BROOKLYN!

Jaspreet was excited to get some shots of her baby bump before the baby was born. It's Valentine's day weekend, and we had high hopes to shoot in the highline, but it was 0 degrees and not comfortable condition for a pregnant momma. NuRide is an upcoming start-up that's looking to take the city by storm with their new luxury black car service. With their home base in Long Island City, they operate some of the biggest fleet of luxury cars in NYC. The staff needed to get their headshots done, so we traveled to LIC to deliver some HM-Worthy shots! Check out the gallery.
It's time for our lunch break - and I'm craving something tasty! Decided to travel up to L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn to grab some of my favorite slices ever.

We have two 60 pound poodles in the studio today, so you know we're going BIG! We had this idea of having Seamus (Panther's shirt) and Romeo (Bronco's shirt) model for us in the studio, and though it was challenging having them sit still together, the pictures came out totally amazing! They brought so much energy, and more importantly, it was simply fun watching these dogs roam around the studio. It's not every day we see Seamus and Romeo in the same room sticking their tongue out for us! Check out our session below.
While today marks the Superbowl's 50th appearance on national television, Down 2 the Wire also puts a mark on their 20th anniversary! Every year, the host Mikey Satira puts together this awesome event where everyone can make bets and win prizes throughout the night. It's an all inclusive experience: you keep track of the plays, you eat bomb buffet food and have unlimited drinks, and you follow play by play to see who's a winner of the next prize!
Down 2 the Wire had many sponsors, and I was one of them. I donated 12x14 canvases of my personal landscapes of Brooklyn, and winners were announced each quarter throughout the game. It was pleasure not only shooting this event, but contributing to such a great amount of people. For those who want to join us next year, I hope to see everyone for DOWN 2 THE WIRE XXI! =)
