While today marks the Superbowl's 50th appearance on national television, Down 2 the Wire also puts a mark on their 20th anniversary! Every year, the host Mikey Satira puts together this awesome event where everyone can make bets and win prizes throughout the night. It's an all inclusive experience: you keep track of the plays, you eat bomb buffet food and have unlimited drinks, and you follow play by play to see who's a winner of the next prize!
Down 2 the Wire had many sponsors, and I was one of them. I donated 12x14 canvases of my personal landscapes of Brooklyn, and winners were announced each quarter throughout the game. It was pleasure not only shooting this event, but contributing to such a great amount of people. For those who want to join us next year, I hope to see everyone for DOWN 2 THE WIRE XXI! =)
